About us

Hello. My name is Viridiana Gomez and I am from Mexico. My love for the bakery is born when I start to experiment with different recipes and obtain unimaginable and, at the same time, gratifying results.

We have a very special product, the Peruvian alfajores. It turns out that my husband is from Peru and one day his mother decided to share with me the family recipe with which she prepares alfajores.

With that, and many other ideas in mind, it occurred to me to create a Bakery whose name was “Lurias Bakery”. Lurias is a word used by my sister to refer to one of her businesses and, in a few words, that is how the idea of calling it “Lurias Bakery” was born.

Lurias Bakery was born on June 12. Back then, we started to take part in various Latino food festivals where we shared our idea of mixing up Latino desserts.

Mexican food and Peruvian food are some of the best foods in Latin America so I knew that making a sweet mix of these cultures could captivate many.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide customers with nothing less than a unique experience of flavors and textures of the highest quality, either through our own products or others that we import.

Part of our mission is to bring back to the memory of our clients those flavors that were part of their childhood, along with memories of those good times they lived in their native countries back then. That is what we are here to do… link our flavors with a moment of happiness.

Vision Statement

We seek to be an elite bakery in Denver, where people are drawn to go because of the exquisiteness and high quality of each and every one of our products.

We seek to position ourselves as an important bakery in Denver so that more people can learn about our products and identify with them.
